Dip-N-Strip was established in 1975. Since then there has been four different owners. Each of whom have played a key role in paving the way for the company's success. The current owner is Lorenzo Tatone. Lorenzo was born in 1946, in Carpurso, Italy. Being the eldest of his three brothers, he was propelled to work. Since the youthful age of five, Lorenzo was launched into his apprenticeship of fine master carpenters and loved every minute. |

The Tatone family immigrated to America in 1958, when Lorenzo was 12 years old. Lorenzo, later graduated from Alhambra High School in California. He then married his high-school sweetheart Judith. They now have been happily married for over 30 years, and have two sons married with children of their own. |

Lorenzo's youngest son, Michael works with his father, and aspires to learn to master the art of woodwork's like his father. |

Lorenzo has been very prosperous in his life long endeavors with his commitment to producing a fine quality product. In his 21 year career at the esteemed CalTech University in Pasadena, California, Lorenzo began in the apprenticeship program, and with hard work and dedication he climbed his way up the corporate ladder to the Estimating and Engineering Department Contract Administrator. Later, he expanded his expertise by becoming the Director of Construction for the Archdiocese for a period of 2 years. After which, Lorenzo knew that his true passion and entrepreneurial heart desired a shop of his own. In 1991, Lorenzo opened Lorenzo's Woodwork's, a cabinet and refinishing business in Azusa, California.

With Lorenzo's passion for the production of a high quality product and service, it's no wonder that the new business did so well Finally, in 1995 Lorenzo was faced with the opportunity to purchase the Dip-N-Strip legacy. And, didn't hesitate for one second. Hence, Lorenzo's Woodwork's is currently an active part of Dip-N-Strip. Lorenzo is now more delighted than ever and continues to, take pride in his superb work, cherish his customers, and edify his son Michael's talent by teaching him the tools of the trade. |
